Brother Number One follows Kiwi Rob Hamill to Cambodia where he appears before a War Crimes Tribunal seeking justice for his eldest brother Kerry who, along with two sailing mates, was murdered by the Khmer Rouge in 1978.
Rob Hamill will join the film screening (98 min.), for a Q & A session with the audience, as will Lyma Nguyen, a NT-based Australian barrister who has, since 2009, represented Rob before the Khmer Rouge Tribunal.The event is hosted by the Centre of International Governance and Justice, RegNet, ANU, and supported by the New Zealand High Commission, Canberra.Entry is by gold coin donation.
